Cards and Races in A Glimpse of Luna are limited!

There will be a maximum of 7 or 8 races and each race will have a maximum of 80 to 100 unique cards.

Enjoy collecting, enjoy the grind but at the end of the day we want this game to stay true to what it is -

A competitive tactical battle card game. Limiting the races and cards has multiple impacts on game.

Here are the two biggest reasons:

Unique Playstyles and Power Creep.

Our economy system can be described with a few words – Simple, Fair and Transparent.

• Simple because it is easy to understand.

• Fair because it is player friendly.

• Transparent because it is easy to see how much certain things cost.

The player has complete clarity about his purchases, regardless of the currency. This means that the player himself decides which content he wants to buy and does not have to rely on his luck opening random chests, barrels or that sort of things.

 

In our concept, the player knows exactly how much he has to spend in order to get the desired content. We believe we have found a good solution that makes unlocking of new content attractive for both, casual and hardcore players.

 

We only have two currencies in the game:

Lyboria Silverlings - Can be acquired with money.

Lyboria Coins - Can be acquired through playing games.

 

It is no secret that we designed everything in a way that in general players who are willing to buy a Starter Deck are having the best experience when it comes to unlocking new content. If you are willing to buy a Starter Deck and play on an average basis you will have a good time collecting the remaining cards.

A Glimpse Of Luna is not pay to win. Each Starter deck contains enough cards to not only play the game but also to have some options, when building a deck. Each deck has to fulfill certain criteria. Having more cards to choose from only provides you with more options and different strategies. In addition, this card game is very skill intensive and it's impossible to play a perfect game. Even if there would be a slight advantage due to one players card pool, the players actual skill and experience will always make the difference. Convince yourself and try the game or ask our community and playtesters.

Each Starter Deck contains 44 cards in total (30 unique cards). At the start of the Open Beta there will be additional 20  unique cards per race to unlock. Taking Troop Strength into account (some cards can be stacked to a certain amount) this means that there are 31 additional cards per race to unlock.
